Any current gpu should be able to hit 80c before you start worrying about proper cooling, 90c before you start worrying about what you're actually doing to get it that high.

Naw they usually run pretty safely into and a little bit above 100C.

I have a 5870 and that thing sits at 109C if I'm running anything.


But honestly OP I don't see why you're bothering to mine with a 7770. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm guessing you have a sub 200KH/s hashrate. What coin are you mining?
