I dowloaded a table from a forum for this game?
Its a managment game like football manager.
I wanted to learn how he made this table. I tried everything from pointer scan to find what writes this address etc..... (things in cheat engine tutorial)
I can find a pointer specific to a player but in the table i downloaded,
The addresses of the pointers change according to the player's profile im viewing!? I view a different players profile and the addresses of the pointers changes to those of the new player? Hw did he do that? (guess its called auto-offsets)
And see the screenshot? How did he find that address "Cricket2013.exe"+005D4D20 and the correct offsets? WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I WANT TO FIND THIS ADDRESS ON MY OWN? building the table from scratch. If i get any one value like DOB or batting abilty, any1 of them, i knw how to create other stats.
Please do help me i have wasted hours in learning how to create a table like his.

the multilevel pointer tutorial (step will explain that
The green address that can be written down as modulename+offset can be used for that.
Make sure that you use the modulename+offset notation, and not the displayed green address
Also, the pointerscan could be used as well. (a max structsize of 256 will even find this one)

If you right-click on an address you want to find a 'permanent' version of and then choose to do a pointer scan on it, once you do the scan you'll see a bunch of results that should have that syntax at the start. Most likely there will be far, far too many results (just like a normal scan), so you should close the game, then re-open it and find the address again normally, then choose to do a pointer scan, but when the first window pops up, close it, then in the still-open pointer scan window, open/load your last scan, then do a rescan from the other dropdown menu to search for the new address.
Rescan a few times it should filter it down to a number of results you can double-click to add to the CE window, and they'll be added with the proper syntax, including that module+offset at the start.
Pointer scans can take forever depending on the game's RAM usage and your RAM and HDD speed, but they're much less work than doing it the old fashioned way.
... also of course make sure that the address you're doing a scan on is actually useful (and not just for display or something else), so your time isn't wasted.

Thnk you for ur swift reply. Whn dark byte said abt multi pointers I read mamy tutorials and watched videos. And after ur reply I did ths exactly and viola!!! I found a way to construct tht table. This underlies the importance of asking your gurus! (respect). 2 replies frm u and I solved something for which wasted 36 hours in 3 days. Thank you once again.
Another thng is I did a similar thng for anther game like this. A crivket management game called cricket coach. But if I scan with pointer scan either I get 0 results at the first scan itself or if I get many pointers after game restart on rescan I get 0 pointers. I tried increasing structure size to 8k and also.increased lebel to 8 thn 10 thn 12. Still the same. Then I tried to do manually. I get a pointer for dob of the player tht doesnt change after restart. I did wht acceses this pointer. Got the code tht changes adresses on switchng betwn players. But n more info.i get a constant everytime and I thnk its called looping of pointers. I cant get a pointer tht changes on switching.profiles of players ingame like I got for the above game cricket.captain. Any ideas?
