Cheat Engine

Hi all,

I just got my new Windows RT tablet and am looking for a cheat engine. Unfortunately i've heard that there is no kernel32.dll, so the standard way of hacking into the memory of other processes won't work.
Does anyone know if this is possible with pure .net 4 framework? Are there already engines for Windows RT? I didn't find any.

You should have gone for android

As far as I know windows is closed of completely. the .NET part is also stripped a lot and memory access is one of the things that got removed.

Also, only tablet builders have a certificate to sign their drivers so not even a third party software developer with a normal driver signing certificate (like me) can write device drivers for it

So yeah, best suggestion I can give if you do like to cheat in games is to ditch that windows tablet and get an android one instead. (preferable one that already has a public way to obtain root)

Perhaps there is a jailbreak you can use, but microsoft has the tendency to patch that stuff

Thanks, Dark Byte. Thats too bad! There is, however, a jailbreak that Microsoft does not seem to try to fix. But for my purpose, writing divers or digging too deep into the framework will take too much time
