Can someone help me with pointers? I've watched several videos about pointers on YouTube already and read some written tutorials already but I still don't know how to find them.

I first scanned the value, then I got the address.
I clicked "Find out what accesses this address".
Then I clicked "More Information"
I wrote the offset ( 18 ) down and scanned for 06EE6948.
(It said the value of the pointer needed to find this address is probably 06EE6948)

I got 1 address. I clicked "Add Address Manually".
I put in the address of the scan result and the offset.
Then I clicked "Find out what accesses this address" of the pointer.
There was no number between the brackets. Only [eax] so I'm assuming the offset is 0.
The value of the pointer needed to find the address was 06CE7158.
I scanned and got 1 result again. (08FD3954)
Then I clicked "Add Address Manually", I put in the address and the 2 offsets. 0 and 18.
When I pressed Ok I got the pointer that had a different value then my first address.

Did you also try the pointer scan? That can be an easier option when new to the program or if you just don't want to do it manually.

Yes I did but it didn't work. When I rescanned it showed 0 pointers.

I think it's a loop pointer. How do I get the base address?
