| Hi. I'm sorry if this is meant to go in game development but due to every post but one being last responded to in 2012, I decided that this was a better choice. Anyway, for a simple 2D game,what should I use?(I also don't want to switch to something better later on.) I'm looking for something like pygame but for C++.

Take a look here for some ideas on what you might want. Just saying '2D engine' doesn't really help since there are a lot of aspects that go into a game that you might need that are specific to an engine.

I've tried HGE, it worked fine.
I haven't tried sfml though so I can't tell you which is better ^^
