not teemo if you're against good darius because he'll punish you so fucking hard every time you think of autoattacking him

there's no hard counter, just soft counters that do well against him.
generally people who out trade/out sustain. lee does well (though the armor nerf on iron will was sad ;_;)

Elise plays well against darius. You can simply harass with spiders then when your jungler comes to gank just jump on his shit. And just in case you get ganked have a ward behind you to jump on.

Generally anyone that is ranged.

However, you can still beat him by outplaying him.

I've beaten and got beaten by Darius with these champions

Eve - You have to bait and kite him. If he Q's you, it's important to try to land a couple of your Q's on him to even or maximize the trade.
Irelia - I usually go for a full on trade at level 3 when I have more creeps than him. By level 6, I can usually kill him unless he outplays me.
Cho - Red pot 5 hp w/ attack speed runes. Chug redpot at level 2 and start autoattacking him and time your rupture.

More often than not, you just need to get a gank on him early and he'll fall behind drastically.

Yeah. And in a teamfight, you can completely fuck him up if you manage to remove his ult.

But it doesn't really matter if you win top. Because bot will build MR vs a full ad team, mid will cry that the other mid's tp gank paid off and that made him lose his lane with 90cs, and jungle will do nothing at all.
