| Why would you need to cheat in minecraft? Creative mode is infinite everything, if you wanted to cheat in survival multiplayer, you may as well play on a creative server because it's the same thing.

Yeah, and where everything economy wise = 100% server-sided? Like, you can't even fake how much money you make since all the server does is send you a chat message which tells you how much money you got.

Best thing to do is xray some diamonds cause they usually sell well in economies.

It's like if you're playing tag or something and you make boundaries and rules or whatever. And then you're playing and you cross all of the boundaries and break all the rules.
You were the one who decided to put those rules and boundaries into place, if you didn't want to follow them, you could have just not had them in the first place.
I don't see what's so complicated about this.

Why cheat at anything?
Let's say op is playing a rp server. Nothing wrong with that
And he wants to build a castle. Nothing wrong with that
So he desperately needs some money so he can buy materials for his castle.
So desperate that he cheats
Sure he could play creative mode, but what if he wants the bragging rights of the castle? Or what if he wants to get some diamonds or some shit to give to somebody to gain their trust so he can find out where the live irl and then kill them?

My computer doesn't like minecraft multiplayer and won't let me on it (and there aren't any firewalls). CE would let me find and use multiplayer commands in Sp.
Sometimes, there is something cool you want to do and you don't want to make a new world in creative just to build it and not be able to use it in survival. Also, there are times when you just want to get one item to help you along and don't have much time to get it i.e. food at dangerously low hunger levels.
By the way, when you force update, you download program files for minecraft. I bet if you do a file search (not on ce) you can find a file labeled ".minecraft" minus the quotes. So then minecraft is not always running on a server.

why the hell would you need to use multiplayer commands in sp? Also i'm pretty sure sp and mp got merged a lil while ago so you already have commands
at least if you open to lan you do
