I'm currently running ubuntu on a flash drive but it's sort of a trial thing and rebooting will revert to factory defaults.
What's a good linux that you can actually install onto the flash drive and have it save data to? |

You can use unetbootn to set up a live ubuntu usb with persistent data. |

I tried it, preferred Ubuntu and OpenSuse over it.
EDIT: Although my point was you can use unetbootn to make a persistent live usb, not getting into any kind of LOL UR OPINION ON A DISTRO IS BAD BECAUSE WHAT I SAY IS ZTRUZTH |

I can understand that you'd like opensuse over it (yast).

I tried making live and normal installations with 100% persistent storage but no matter what distro I use restarting the computer resets everything. |
