So it is wise for me to wait a few minutes after I load up speedtest to do the actual test to receive my actual speed? I have comcast...

That's what this IT guy told me earlier...

Not as bad as road runner. They have their own subdomain on speedtest that the ISP tech used to test my speed once he set it up. I've NEVER reached that speed since then.
one of those, "look how good it is! oh it's not that fast anymore? you must need the new expensive router we sell!"

Not exactly what he meant. I think he meant until the "speed boost" wears off. I think it's purpose is to have higher speeds in the first few minutes of like a streaming video or what ever

ask your isp if they know what ddos is
chances are they wont
