|
|
So,
I'm able to execute and connect to my android device from CE on my desktop. I'm using an asus transformer btw...
The problem is, when I try and scan for values, the scanning takes forever to complete! Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there an option I need to change? I just scan for values like I usually do but the wait time is way too long...
Thanks for your help.

Is the bar at least moving, or is it completly frozen?
If it's still moving, perhaps a faster wifi connection can help you. (does it support a cabled connection)
If it's standing still, make sure your wifi connection is perfect. The released beta doesn't deal with a bad connection (one unexpected disconnect and it will lose track of what it was doing)

Sigh,
unfortunately, my school's WIFI sucks then because it does move but it takes a very long time to move and from your comment that's 99% the issue. And no, my transformer does not support cabled connection although I wish it did.
Although, it does seem like it disconnects in the middle of searching even though my wifi connection is still in tact. I'm watching the terminal while I'm searching and it keeps saying peer disconnected and then connects again... is there something wrong there or can I just assume it's the wifi?

hmm, could be some kind of timeout. Does the progressbar also stop after that ?
Also, it is normal that there is a disconnect as the thread that was scanning is finished.
what you could try is set the affinity of the cheat engine process to only one cpu (use the taskmanager to do that)
That way only one thread will be tasked with scanning

your router must allow broadcasts in the local network, else just give the ip manually
