Because clock speed is not the only factor that determines the performance of a processor. It's not even the primary factor, for that matter.

Look, konr and cryoma, I'm not trying to be mean about this, and please don't take offense, but I'm not sure you are aware of how shallow your understanding is of how computer processors, and computers in general work. Read up on the basics of how processors work and the history of processors, and it will make sense.
