|

I used to have this old game. Dune 2000, dint know about hacking back then. Played it honest. Then oneday I learn about ways to cheat/hack and eventually came by this awesome trainer. Worked on Windows 95/98 only.
Trainer Files as a JPEG. Rename to ZIP to make it work.
The one option in it, that I miss today...Is the "Reveal Map" option. Its a RTS game and this option used to erase that Black veil off from the map and reveal all of it.
The question is... How? How can address store the amount of map explored, the parts, locations etc which are explored. I mean to make this option AGAIN myself for Windows XP and 7 64, if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

I released an trainer for Dune2000 a while back and it had a map hack.
If I remember correctly there was a CMP which checked if all the map had been revealed (using the cheat codes) and then just changed the jump > ? to JMP.
It has been a while since I played though.
There's a fair few tutorials on other gamehacking forums for map hacks..
Slurps, Groza, Chaos, and Sheep, all from early 2000's wrote a few map hack tutorials for certain games, from around the same era which would use the same sort of options etc, try finding those.
I think the games where red alert, Age Of wonders, Age of Empires Mythology, and I think it was Chaos who wrote one for dune 2000 (not sure on the last one though, but i do remember seeing one but this was like 12 years ago).
good luck.

This Dune game did not come with cheat codes. Before finding trainers...I used to edit the game saves with hex editors.
