I shave my neckbeard but I do have one and I've watched some of the show (15 episodes?).
I'm not attached to it at all and I don't consider myself a brony, but I don't see anything wrong with liking it because it does have some humor that appeals to my generation.
Some real hidden gems, in fact.
All in all this is like mtn dew vs doctor pepper again, I'm just the guy that doesn't care what you drink and I don't see why anybody cares in the first place.
