Sorry, but if you don't know trig yet, you're really nowhere near ready for Calc AB.
Not that Calc AB is hard or anything, I'm in it now and I'm ready to shoot myself out of boredom in that class. But you need to have a really firm grasp on trig and a few other things that come after it before you can really do calc.

I learned basic trig in geometry honors last year, but it didn't get taught as in depth as i am supposing a precalculus course will cover. |
That and just algebra 2 in general. I'd be really surprised if you could learn everything you need to know for calc ab by the time the AP test rolls around (May 9th I believe?).

I've learned jack shit this entire year in math and finally got fed up with it a bit ago.
Quit the class and am now learning (with a rather good deal of success) trig.
I would have done it much earlier, but at least at the time we were doing math, for two weeks before I left it was nothing but telling us things anyone with a functioning brain would know about buying a car. (Don't give him the money if he tells you he'll give you the car tomorrow.)

Thats not true. Im hardly decent at trig and can still handle Calculus just fine.
