my dads willing to buy the upgrade for 170 for me
he has the reason 3.0.1 adapted shit

is 6 a lot better than 5? new features include live recording they say, and 3 new instrument things which look sick

Reason 6 requires an ignition key to run, in other words a dongle, or a usb device with your key on it, which is encrypted by a company that has never been cracked, and every year that company holds a competition with millions in cash prizes to whoever can crack their software.
Nobody ever has.
So yeah, you have to buy Reason 6.
And yeah, it's amazingly better than 5.
