Wouldn't you be able to just hook one up to your TV and use it as an HD movie player?
No need for DVD or Blu-ray when you can just have files on a USB or external HDD, and then played through this. $25 as well sounds really cheap.

Yes. It runs video out at 1080p at full speed without hiccups. This paired with an external hdd means instant media player.
I'm already contemplating building a 5 or so inch long, 1.5 inch wide, 1.5 inch tall "computer bar" using their other model(the size of an average usb drive) It'll be in that size of a project box, sleek metal. Have a wifi dongle inside and a usb hub inside with the out ports showing through the case. Wifi, 4 usb ports, 700mhz cpu, 128mb ram, hdmi out. 50 dollars to build. |
