I didn't really think Google would join, I know they can afford it, but it's weird to hear about a company like Google willing to go offline even if for a few hours. Now Facebook on the other hand, I understand.

So let me get this straight; they think they can re-word a bill that no one liked and everyone will fall for it? What the fuck is wrong with the U.S. government. Why can't they get it? It's obviously an uphill battle, considering majority of known companies don't want the shitty PR.

A lot of website are doing this. Notch was gonna do the same thing, but decided to do the reverse and make minecraft free to play for the duration of the protest.

No, he won't.
He was planning to, but people pointed out that they would just dismiss it as self-promotion. So, he's going to black out minecraft.net.
EDIT: FFS. I've been trying to upload my source (his twitter) six times now. Takes half an hour to upload a fucking 60kb jpg? Suck my balls.
