Like how there are 30 seconds between matches and then the next map starts loading. Why not load the next map during the 30 second interval? How could possibly have NOT thought of that?

no, an option to disable it would work
it would speed up the loading process for those capable
I understand how you see that as unnecessary because it would all boil down to the "weakest link" taking the longest to load, but if he had it enabled it would speed up the process for him, and thus for others

To be honest it isn't a good idea, because on a low-end PC you'd lag to shit and wouldn't be able to quit if you wanted to.

I was just reading maximumpc and they say the minimum gaming computer to enjoy bf3 would cost about $800.
If you can't spend that much today don't pick up the game.
And yeah they laughed at the idea of consoles.
