So I just installed a fresh copy of W7 and then got the oem drivers off the acer website.
Everything's working fine except the wireless.
I've installed all the drivers they offer for my model (acer aspire 4743z) and still no wireless.
Windows update found nothing as well.
Suggestions? |

| I used the vendor check tool, it said brodcom, so I installed those drivers and restarted but all I got is LAN. |

| Just get the drivers off the website. If its an extractable file type you can more than likely right click that device, update, locate it and install. |

Fixed it sorta, the drivers are there and it's detectinge the networks in my neighborhood but when I put in the password for mine it says it's wrong.
I guess I'll just reset the router for that or whatever. |

| This happened to me once, I just kept trying driver after driver till it worked. Sometimes you need an exact revision for it to work successfully. |
