Now you can play BF3 and many of the new releases maxed, or high settings no problemo. Probably not BF3, but everything else should be ok with 60+fps

If you don't wanna stretch that extra 15 bucks for the 6850 (which is very worth an extra 15 dollars)

Oh also, get this cpu if they dont have 955/965 by the time you order parts.

You can unlock the extra 2 cores with your mobo. Just oc it to 3.2 and you have a 955, and you have a possibility of being able to turn it into a 6 core thuban.

BF3 has a lot of problems right now and a 6850 is not enough for max. Prior to the current patch the game ran fine on my msi 6850 @ 925/1100 but now i get unstable frame rates, frame drops to 0, jitter, crashes, even just had a bsod as soon as BF3 launched a server.

Before patch: Ultra settings
After patch: Low won't work

Do yourself a favor and hold off on BF3 till dice fixes it. If you get anything less than a 6850, do not expect anything past medium, being you can actually play properly.

Don't get the 6570, as it's a waste because it's the same price as the 6670, but 6670 is almost 2x better. But again, at these prices you might as well go for the 6770. You will regret your purchase of the 6570. It's your choice, though.
