| would prefer more of a face, but doesn't look bad. body looks kind of weird, but i guess it's supposed to since it's an alien.

2 small circles are supposed to be eyes.
I half assed the other (dark) side of the body so it looks a little funny.
Example: Hand on the other side is facing the wrong direction and too small.
Thanks for the criticism, I'll try to make the face on future stuff less like this one.
Just experimenting with alien concepts since apparently that's what I'll be doing for some game.

It's great. In my opinion you don't have to work on much on shaping the alien since alien are pretty much fantasy character and the implication of the artist's imagination can only go so far. I think what you need to work on most is details on the limbs and other body parts to make it look more gruesome. Such as slime(just an example). I think you should add more depth on the ribs. More wrinkles(around the belly) and toning of the muscles. Overall, it's hard to criticize upon sci-fi drawings since it emphasize on the artist's imagination. Simply, it looks great. Keep up the good work.

Oh trust me, I'd throw in so much more detail if it wouldn't kill the drawing. It's just way too small to add that much detail though.
In my bigger notebook... everything ends up exactly how I want. I really wish I could scan my drawings from it. Might try taking pictures sometime.
I've showed a few off in cam sessions, not sure it did them much justice though.
Anyways, thanks for the criticism.

I'm not questioning your ability to add details in your drawings, just saying that, that's pretty much all you(in general) need to work on when drawing sci-fi drawings(in theory).
