Hello all,

I'm currently stuck on a new project I've been working on. I am looking for multi-level pointers for a game that has two processes. Never had trouble finding base addresses in any other game before. To honest the part that is messing me up is that I cannot locate an address that is 4bytes only can get correct address by scanning for double. So from the beginning here's what I'm doing. Please respond if you can help me out.

1. Load up game. (It's a new MMO currently in Beta Phase)
2. Start Cheat Engine.
3. Click attach to process and see two game .exe's
Like this 0x0000001 game.exe and another 0x0000002 game.exe for example.
4. Only the top .exe (0x000001) I'm able to scan the player HP value as Double its the only one that will allow me to get the correct HP value. The other .exe (0x000002) I'm not able to scan anything close to HP value.
5. With the correct values as Double in game.exe (0x000001) I find out what writes to this address. Then change a piece of gear for the debugger address to pop up. Click more info it tells me [edi+04] so I grab the address for EDI and copy the debugger address to notepad for later.
6. I try and take the EDI address and scan hex with 4 bytes and no results pop up. This is where I'm lost.....

If someone knows what I'm doing wrong let me know. If I did not explain well enough let me know.... Thank you in advanced!!!

If the game is called Firefall, I doubt you can do anything, it keeps almost all data on servers, developers said so on official forums a while ago.

just download some table from cheat table and play & learn from them, there are milion ton multi level pointer out there, let us see u are lucky or not Very Happy

I don't think its a valid request for anyone to ask for help with hacking if they don't say WHAT they are trying to hack. As I said some MMOs, and one that it in Beta now is Firefall, keep almost everything on the server. I am a beta participant, I tried hacking chat (I dont wanna hack anything else, cuz it's lame in an online game and also I can get banned). I ended up changing the address of the dude's message but the changed message did not display for anyone other than me.

So I'd say; if you want help, tell us what you want help with. Although, I just checked, if I did spot everything, Firefall has one .exe as far as I know.

Also any game using 2 apps has only one that maintains gameplay-related values and the other that maintains the netcode (usually). Just tell what this game is!

The answer is simple. CE and CEF doesn't support online games.
