Your entire post is irrelevant due to that single line. | I really do fail to see how. I'm only explaining how, despite the iPhone was the first of its kind to be released, development of smartphones had been underway for a long while before it. And even so, blackberries were essentially smartphones as well and were out for long before the iPhone, albeit pretty bad ones.
So no, Apple never contributed to the advancement of any technology.

He was a genius. An absolute genius, at making money. And screwing people.
I have mad respect for anyone who is that smart. And I am envious of his success.
He was a unique man, who held a portion of the world in his hand, but his death is being just a little over reported...
