I am making a trainer for halo and for a few dynamic addresses I can't find a static pointer, but I can find a static address that writes to it. So would I be better off to include a scanner for the addresses or make something that can find what address it writes to? and are there any tuts for either? or how could I do this?

If you found a static address, just use it. Confused

The problem is The value I need to read isn't static, there isn't a static pointer, but there is a static value that writes to it. I need to know how to find what the static address writes to since the dynamic address changes. Either that or implement a scanner into my app. How would I do either of these? any tuts?

If you really cant find a pointer for it, then u need to do some codecave in the address that writes to it to obtain the address through asm

edit: make it store the address into a variable and then jump back to the next line of instruction
