I'm not sure if you're serious, but I'm assuming you're trying to make a silly insult on the lack of drastic change.

Fucks sake though, how are they supposed to improve the Metro engine? Graphics are still better than most other games to date, can't even keep a steady FPS with the settings maxed out on a single gfx card.
There was only a few things that needed to change and they seem to have changed them. Such as the lack of other gun sites and people have creepy, glowing eyes (though I could only catch a glimpse in the cutscene).
The lighting system has also improved quite a bit from what I can tell. I think Part II shows off the lighting system a bit better though.

I really don't care about the engine at this point though, I just want more Metro.
