Anyone ever accomplished lucid dreaming?

It's not like I dont remember the dreams ...it's a complete blank when I wake up as if i wasn't dreaming at all ...

Correct. You have a REM period every 90 minutes (approx).

Proven (by me) to increase dream vividness
Also melatonin will to
melatonin only works if you already have less than normal amounts. taking more than your body produces does nothing, and it is better in small amounts if you do take it.

Once or twice unwillingly. Happened quite often as a kid. If I could I'd do it all the time; it was a hell of a dream.

When I was a kid I'd always have a dream about me flying in a meadow. It felt so real that I almost regretted waking up.

It really sucked when those dreams stopped.

The method I use the yesterday was:

Well first you should know that there are many different methods to inducing a lucid dream. Today we will be working with the WILD method. Most tutorials you find will tell you that you need to go through an extensive boot camp of dream recall and sleep signals, but in reality if you remember 1/3 of your dreams it's good enough to start lucid dreaming. Second, you MUST BE WELL RESTED! I cant stress this enough! If you aren't well rested you might just skip the dreaming all together and pass out, then not remember anything. After you take these precautions we can begin.
Step 1: Take some chill time, calm down and peruse HF for a while while your heart beat slows.
Step 2: Now go to your bed and lay down on your back with your eyes closed.
Step 3:Now DON'T MOVE! What you're aiming to do is trick your body into entering sleep paralysis (google it). You will feel the urge to move or scratch, but you must resist!
Step 4: You must stay awake! Your mind has to stay awake during all of this. The easiest way to do this is talk to yourself about whats happening to your body as you enter the paralysis, or turn on the television in the next room before you go under, and listen.
Step 4: If you followed the last step you should feel very heavy, almost like you're going to sink through the mattress. Some people hallucinate at this state, I myself see purple on the back of my eyelids.
Step 5: Now wake up, but not really. Try to wake up in your dream body, it sounds weird, but so does the entire concept of lucid dreaming. The easiest way to start lucid dreaming is to wake up where you left off, in your bed!
Step 6: Enjoy! it's your dream, so you can do whatever you damn well please!
Step 7: Once you wake up you can discuss your experience, or write it down, these will help you retain the memory.

I hope this helped you with all of your lucid dreaming needs. This is my first tutorial so I'll gladly take any criticism you have to offer. Drop me a comment and tell me how I did, and how your attempts went! Go dream, and enjoy yourselves!


If youre interested in achieving lucid dreams. WILD methods are usually very difficult, but this one seems to almost worked yesterday

That's identical to the steps you take to meditation excluding the laying down. If you wish to Lucid Dream, meditate.

I tried but I couldn't be arsed to get that far. It was fun actually remembering my dreams for a bit though. A lot of them were hilarious.

the hardest part is like step 5

step 4 takes a while to get to for me, which is why I quit the WILD method
I once saw pink triangles and heard a cowbell ringing every second at that step

for me its the waiting because id just lay there immoboilized having the need to scratch my balls and hallucinating, i'd get excited or freaked out when im hallucinating and focus on it too much and it just wakes me up.

Haha I used to study for tests in Lucid dreams.

I also memorized something that helps you memorize words/documents faster.

I memorized short chunks for specific things that are common.

Like for phone numbers in my area,
612 = a, 651= b

I can usually memorize phone numbers like

651 777 8847 like this:

a e c 47

Haha people always are amazed how I memorize a sht load of things so fast.. Never told them this secret xD
