I have a bunch of time to kill over the summer and I have a few good skate parks near me so I want to buy a bike.
I know practically nothing about bikes so I was wondering if any of you knew much about them and could suggest things to look out for.

Nope, red, it'll go faster.
And I was planning on getting a dirt one. I found out recently that there are a few tracks within a 20 minute walk.
Any suggested brands?

The very first bike I had was by Huffy and it's red. Rode it from places to place and it was a great bike.
That bike brakes by pressing the pedals backwards instead of using a
brake lever located on the handle bars.
