Which I will mainly be using outside.
Which size should I get?
I'm fond of 1080p resolutions and large laptops(17in) but I'd also like it to be comfortable with smaller ones such as 1366x768 (maybe on a 13" laptop?).
I am not sure how different each of the sizes are and what are the advatages to it. What do you think? I'm also considering intuos wireless (which is medium sized).
I'm heavily inclined in getting the medium sized or wireless. Opinions?

Bigger = better. When it comes to pen tablets. Try it make it match your screen size as best you can.

Get a 20" laptop screen, then you wont get pissed of as much when your trying to view everything at once. Pen tablets are very helpful, depends how well they work you might want to research the best pen tablet out there right now. I think a Macintosh would be suitable for what you would be doing, unless you play video games i would partition Linux, Microsoft windows. One for art which would be Linux the other for gaming which would be Microsoft.

Is that how it is? Well I'm planning to match it with a macbook pro 13" soon. Will 10" be okay? I'm really loving that wireless intuos4 and only for 399$.
I don't think going with the bigger ones are what I need, because I will only be using this outside but if bigger does make so much difference I will reconsider.

Wat
I already have a big laptop and an even bigger monitor in a dual monitor setup.
.-.

Everybody knows wacom's the best, hands down. Macintosh isn't a tablet brand and I am not asking about laptops. I already know what I want okay? That's why I'm asking specifically.

I already got a Cintiq12wx as a gift last year. I was looking for something I would take outside?
What are the benefits to taking that?
Might it be similar to the ModBook//Pro? http://www.axiotron.com/index.php?id=modbookpro

oh. if you want a portable tablet get the intuos4 medium.
I have the large one and it is too big to take out unless you have a big portfolios.
the link I gave you is pretty much a kit to convert an intuos4 into a cintiq.

Ah, I see. Thanks alot. I almost bit the large size, thanks.
I am extremely tempted to get the wireless version which is basically the same size as medium but wireless has its downsides. @_@

I'm getting the medium, the wireless is a piece of garbage.
I've had the small one before and it's a pain, medium is just perfect regardless of screen size.
If you want bigger than medium then just save for a cintiq.

Hm, really? OTL ;_; so much for not having the nuisance of wires.
