Art is too easy with photoshop. Anyone with half of brains can make decent looking art with it. The only art that I can consider real skill, is people who can make awesome things in the "paint" program that your pc comes with.

Not me. I've seen some pretty incredible shit done in Photoshop that I can only dream to create. It's one of the primary tools for concept artists when constructing digital concepts. Once I get a better pen tablet or a pen display, I'll be using Photoshop a lot!

not at all.

you cant draw nice in photoshop if you cant draw nice in paper and pencil.
you cant color nice in photoshop if you cant do it with colors or paint.

do not mix graphic design with art which is what I think you are mixing up.

Well i think every one since they where born has a sense of 3d or 2d when we look at things. So it really doesn't matter what program you use it depends on the artist its self.
