Do you live under a rock?
If you're playing tf2 and you load a large map, the entire game can take up to 2gb.
Then all the various other shit I have going on is probably another 1gb, and then w7 is another 1gb, so my average ram usage is 4gb total.
If I start another MC server (which I plan on), that easily got up to 4gb, so I will need at least 12gb to run a server and operate normally.
So I'm either looking at a lush 24gb of ddr3 or 12gb of ddr5, either way is $200.
And I'm talking about a desktop btw, I'm returning the laptop I have now, it says it's great and all but honestly a 6350 is terrible.
