if he does either what is the point if eventually we all die
if we have souls that live for eternity why live a mortal life in the first place
satisfaction only lasts so long so why do or try anything if its not permanent
why do I question these things, instead of being uncaring and enjoying the human existence

It's simple, there is none. You live your life and deal with things as they present themselves. You can have a family, make changes in the world, lie, cheat, murder, save lives, etc. At the end of the day, you're just behaving as you want to behave. Humans aren't some fantastic being that are here for a greater purpose, we're just another organism on Earth who happens to have the ability to question and reason. And if you want people to take you seriously, don't romanticize things so much.
