You can just change you're computer's date and time to get the messages.

Dec 31~Jan 1 - Open CE to see "Happy new year! What are your new year's resolutions?"
April 1 - You hear annoying sheep sounds when you browse CEF
July 1 - Open CE to see "Happy birthday dear me" or something like that. That is because it's Dark Byte's birthday
Dec 24~Dec 25 - Open CE to see "Have fun"

There might be more, but these are all I know.
