You don't have many items so I'm guessing you're new. Work out how the default items work before moving to the tricky weapons.
Use shotgun for the soldier, it's better. Instead of the skullcutter, use the eyelander. Don't use the scottish resistance. Don't use the cloak and dagger.

| I use Dead Ringer & Cloak And Dagger. It depends what stage. Like if it's a Stage with a lot of tunnels and crevices i'll go with Dead Ringer, if it's a more flat area like Badlands, I'll go with Cloak & Dagger.

Because it limits how much you can maneuver. It promotes standing still. This is the worst for when you need to escape.
Enough said?

Enough said? | Not true. If you make it look like you're running in a direction when you run away, cloak whilst running and then move to the right and stop, they'll keep looking for you in the direction you were running.

And then someone bumps into you or you see a pyro. It us much easier and secure running around collecting weapons and metal.

You said stop and go to the right, if people are around you trying to find you, they will.
And your watch meter is probably at half after you try to stab someone so you have about 7 seconds of running before your outline shows.
And it isn't like every map is some huge field. You might be in a small space, like a corridor. Stopping, or walking slowly in a place like that after an attempted stab will get you killed.

If you're in a corridoor keep fucking walking, cloak and then walk behind them and past them. Unless someone is completely wasting their time with a flamethrower all over places where they might not even find a spy, you're good to go. Any idiot can get away from the other classes with no problem though.

I know it was an example, and 7/9 of the classes in tf2 can find a spy who doesn't run SO easily. In all situations.
I medic can even syringe gun spam everywhere and find the spy right next to him.
