I'm trying to remove the Quicktime plugin from Firefox.

In essence, I've removed every Apple folder on my computer. At least the ones that had that in the name, at any rate.

Anyway, one Google search brought instructions telling me to go to "about:config" in the URL, changing "plugin.show_full_path" or something like that to true, going to "about:plugins", and from there I could see where the files were from. To my surprise, they were all in a folder for Opera. I deleted them, but the plugin remains in the list, and the file paths state the place I deleted them from. Any ideas?

It's removed but firefox doesn't check when it starts to see if it's still there perhaps?

I think that plugin is built into FireFox. All my computers with FF and no quicktime show that string there by default FF install.
