I'd go for the Acer, good reviews and the orange makes it look epic.

The Acer is orange because it matches with its Predator systems.
As for this 3D gaming, without proper research it will bite you in the ass. This is what I read so far.
The requirements for Nvidia 3D vision
1. You will need a Nvidia 3D vision kit
2. Enabling 3D will hurt performance so prepare to buy a beefier card.
3. It requires SLI
4. A 120Hz Nvidia 3D supported monitor, 120Hz screen supporting 3D Blu-ray does not automatic support for Nvidia 3D.
With that said, this is how much you will need to spend to achieve your objective.
-3x LG 120Hz monitors w/NV 3D support $1,199.97 ($399.99 each)

-2x GTX 570 $699.98 ($349.99 each)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121412-
Corsair 850w PSU $129.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139009
-Nvidia 3D vision kit $174.99

I've selected the GTX 570 because it the newest from Nvidia and a bit cheaper than the GTX580, Also as you drive up the resolution along with 3D, it will take a performance hit, so a beefier card to handle the heavy load.
A PSU is also added just in case if the one you have isn't powerful enough to handle two cards in SLI mode.
Total for this whole S*ht is $2,204.93

3D Vision only requires one monitor and card to function. I've seen WoW in 1080p 3D running on a 460 1gb card fairly smoothly (~30-50 fps), so all you really need is a 3D capable video card (anything starting from the 200 series), the LG monitor you linked and a 3D Vision set ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007980%2050001441&IsNodeId=1&name=NVIDIA ). I must say though 3D is more of a gimmick than actual functionality, and personally I'd rather spend my money on a multi-monitor setup.

My bad, what I was talking about is 3D vision surround not the standard 3D vision. They just need one monitor.
And I still stand by my point, you will need a beefier graphic card if you want to enable 3D.
