Text for example. I was just going over Wikipedia and started wondering if the text I copied would be saved somewhere.
Not that I'm plagiarizing or anything. Just curious.

If you have Microsoft Word open it saves it to a clip board I think.

Yeah, I'm aware of the clipboard, but I'm wondering there's something else that would keep track of it because I know my clipboard isn't out.
If what you copy with ctrl + v is saved for you to paste somewhere later, where is that saved text/image coming from?

Ctrl + V = paste.
Ctrl + Z = copy.
