So, I have an old keyboard I want to start using again.
It has a P/S2 connection. I used to use it on my old Dell Dimension 3000.
I currently use a Logitech 650 Deluxe Wireless Optical desktop. It works on both my new computer and my old Dimension 3000.
The old keyboard works with the Dimension 3000 but not my new computer.
My Microsoft USB mouse from my Dimension 3000 works on my new computer.
Upon plugging the keyboard into the P/S2 socket on my new computer, the keyboard scroll lock, caps lock and num lock LED's light up for a second then go dead. From then the keyboard doesn't work.

Any ideas?

PS/2 to usb adapter. I use one at work for an old PS/2 keyboard I brought from home.
