| And I wondered if anyone had some spare time to pick a nice pc of around 400 price range that can run games like TF2. Tell me if the price would have to be higher.

Including tax excluding shipping.
I looked what one would need for two games
TF2:
dual core CPU over 2.0 ghz
at least an 8600GT vid card
at least 2 gigs ram
and pref 500gig hdd.
If that's possible for 400€ it would be great.

So it's 400 Euro, Ireland uses Euro as well, you live in Ireland?
And exclude what you don't need.

I live in the Netherlands but yes, Euros are the currency.
I won't need a screen but I will need pretty much everything else.
Also, it can't be a build-your-self PC, it has to be pre-assembled.

Thanks man, I'll get my parents/brother/myself to get him 100€ more. Is 500€ reasonable? If anyone minds rechecking?

pre-build machine, couldn't find one.
But you can get one of 400€ and then buy a 50€ graphics card and put it in manually

I guess I have enough common sense to do that and if not my uncles would. Any good sites where I can filter specs?

Thanks. I was thinking to go for this one
http://www.4launch.nl/shop/#p-4-productid-095766
Seems pretty decent. And with a €50-60 video card it should do pretty good.

Generally, prebuilt computers come with power supplies that can only handle what's in the computer when you buy it.
what video card were you planning on getting?
because you might need a new psu

| I have a 2.8GHz dual core processor, a cheapo ATI Radeon HD 4670, 2GB of RAM and 500GB HDD and I can run TF2 alright. Although I prefer to have a very large FPS to make it easier to play, so I run it on super duper low settings with an fps config. When I first go the card I ran it at about 40-60fps on full.
