In war, there'll always be two points of view.
That of the victor and that of the defeated.

Depending on which side wrote the poem, it'll have different points of view upon the scenes.

The assignment was assigned for you to do at home/in your own time? It's homework. The homework is to analyse the differences in them once you've found them yourself.

Well in all fairness, if he's asking us to find two poems, then he's is still doing his own homework. But instead of asking a machine to look it up for him (Google), he's asking people. It's a pretty smart move if you think about it, considering how Google isn't into poetry for sure, but someone here might be.
