He's at the hospital right now and we are waiting to go in, Just looking for advice, anyone else go through something like this?

I'm pretty traumatized right now.

Also yes, I live with my grandparents.

My grandmother had to go to the hospital one day, they found out she has cancer.

There's nothing you can do, except sit it out and wait. Made me feel kinda helpless ;(

Yes, I went through this several times. All you can do is wait it out, and hope for the best. Find comfort with other relatives, and be sure to distract yourself by talking to them. Also, why do you live with your grandparents?

I'm sorry that there is nothing I can say to make you feel better. I've never been close to any of my grandads. Mums dad died before I was born. And my fathers dad. Well let's say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I hope you and your grandad gets thru this. Take care brah.

Good luck mate. I can understand what it feels like to have a close relative be in a dangerous situation like that (as you know) and I sympathise with you a lot. Just wait it out, like these fine gents said, and hope for the best. He WILL be okay!

Recently found out my grandmother may have cancer(No idea how the doctors couldn't have seen this before..) and I'm pretty darn terrified to, I hope your grandfather recovers and has no ill effects because of the stroke.

my grandfather passed away a few weeks ago. it was for the best i think. he was getting pretty high up there in age and couldn't do a lot of the things he used to enjoy. he couldn't go fishing, use his boat, do carpentry, or other small projects in the house, could barely walk, couldn't even go up the stairs, the list goes on. it was pretty sad seeing him in that condition and i don't think i'd want to be alive if i were in that situation.
