When I found out there was another metroid game I came. The trailer made it looks sorta like the original sidescrollers. Was it?

Uh, you know, because metroid is owned by nintendo.
When was the last time nintendo let one of its main franchises (or any of its franchises, for that matter) be multiplat?

The majority of the game is 2.5 side scroller, like super, but you have to do 1st person periodically.

The 360 and PS3 are just improved models of the last ones.

A TREMENDOUS change.
Sakamoto has retconned/glazed over nearly everything that Prime introduced (and even a few things that were in Super.)
He's fucking crazy.
The game isn't all that bad though, just the story is fucked
