There are several things to consider:
First of all, Mijumaru and Tsutaja's evolutions have the wrong names. Their names were shown in the concept art for the anime that was leaked a long time ago. The names do not match up. If one wants to suggest that the designs/names change, please bear in mind that the character designs, Koromori and Kibago's names and designs did not change, and it is ignorant to assume the Starter designs would.
Secondly, the Pokemon are at level 50 and have the same HP as the original base evolution Pokemon did in the trailers. This has NEVER happened before, and shows a quick copy/paste job.
Third, the layout of the page doesn't adhere to Coro-Coro's general layout guidelines and page margin restrictions. We see what appears to be the inner bindings of the page in the left of the image, and a screenshot touching that edge. No editor would allow this to pass as a general buffer of 2-4mm is standard buffering for binding margins.
Forth, the image forensics show quite clearly that the image is made up of several images which have been saved numerous times before. If this were indeed a scan, or a photograph of one, the entire image would be the same forensic color. For the analysis, follow this link:

Lastly, the Corocoro section on B/W is far larger than one or two pages. All of them would have been scanned and uploaded at once.
What does this mean? This is a fake scan. It does not necessarily debunk the existence of the purported evolutions, however it does grievously discredit them. Convincing hoaxes have been made before, and this is no exception. |
