EXPLAIN WHY PLS |
FLS = Space ship command center with lots of shiny buttons that you press to play loops which you then arrange into a song and tweak with effects so it's original.
Reason = Virtual simulation of a real music producing studio, complete with a rack, dials and knobs, cords that you plug in to hardware, etc., along with most of the stuff that FLS can do like loop players and shit, not that you'd ever want to because you have a 7gb sound bank complete with HQ samples of every note of every octave on every type of instrument that you've ever heard of or not heard of, FROM SEVERAL DIFFERENT ANGLES, with the ability to modify each sound as if playing the real instrument.
Basically if we were to say FLS and Reason were games where you fly airplanes, FLS would be RaidenX, and Reason would be Flight Simulator X.
One is fancy and fun, the other simulates the real world and actually teaches you something. |

FLS isnt a bad place to start then, ill try reason eventually but right now I know almost nothing, and a virtual simulation of a producing studio sounds like a bit much |

Oh well yeah I'm not saying FLS is bad or anything, Reason is just more professional and has more power etc. so not the best place to start as a beginner. |

I have used theReason and FL and I stay with FL
I really just dont see how theReason is more powerful. It is just more messy and harder to use but you can do pretty much everything you can in the other program. |

No offense but that's like a mac user saying windows is too hard so it must not be able to do as much as osx. |
