| The violin wants to play out of tune. The violin wants to sound bad. The violin is not your friend. In order to play the violin well, you have to MAKE it sound good. It's not doing a thing for you. Take my word for it. Play the viola. The viola is many times more friendly as an instrument. I know you're not going to be a really serious musicion, so don't pick the hardest of the string instruments to play well. |

Thats the point of practice though. Plus a little challenge never hurt anyone.
Im not sure what the difference is between the two? Care to expand on that a little?
