I was trying to make an awesome rollercoaster but at one point the cat stops because it can't go fast enough.
So I made a powered minecart and I don't understand how to get in.
The wiki isn't helping.
How2poweredminecart?

So I put a normal cart infront of the powered cart, then press on the powered cart and jump into my normal cart?
Edit: For some reason my normal cart goes alot faster than the powered cart and the powered cart will stop pushing me.

My normal cart goes faster than my powered cart because it has me in it.
There's alot of downhill parts in my rollercoaster so I guess that plays a role too.
Is there a way to make my powered cart go faster?

If you're thinking about somehow linking the carts, don't worry. A lot of people have asked for that, I'm sure Notch will soon add it.
The blueprint I imagine could look somewhat like this:

) being normal minecart
- being sticks
] being powered minecart
0 being air
