Whenever I run uTorrent I literally cannot do anything without lag.
I'll kill all tasks I don't need, then open uTorrent and VLC to play music, and the music lags.
And my cursor keeps freezing for like 10 seconds at a time.
Closing uTorrent fixes all this.
What the fuck.
It might be because I updated to beta version of uTorrent, but I think it was happening before that too.

| Probably overloading the cache and needs to be set automatically.

You mean like RAM?
It's only using 30k, and I'm using 312mb total, I've got plenty of caching available.

Well I'm talking about the advanced settings. uTorrent is probably reading more than it can handle.

Oh, yeah, well I am downloading a couple torrents that are like 500gigs each.
Edit: What size would you suggest I set?
32mb?

That would be why, I usually do ~5gig files with 3-5 downloading at a time.

Try doing one torrent at a time and see if the lag decreases.

Yeah still lags even though I just have one torrent checking, not even downloading.
I'll just download stuff when I'm not using the computer.
