But just figured that maybe chrome isn't supposed to do that? It's not the tabs.

It does that on purpose idiot. It helps prevent crashes of the entire browser. One tab can crash and the others are fine.

No, I only have 4 tabs opened but there are 7 processes.

There are no advantages to having all your tabs to be run in one process. It uses the same amount of memory, and it's more stable. You're acting like a retard, making up random opinions about things you don't know anything about to look smart and opinionated.

@OP, you probably closed 3 tabs and the processes are still closing.

Lolfail. There is an overhead incurred by each process - both in memory as well as computation. Stick to advising noobs on what hard disks to buy in computer talk

Also, there is an advantage of having just one proses; if you want to use cheat engine on chrome, you need to find the right one first. Saves time.
