Cheat Engine

I've been trying to use Cheat Engine with Dawn of Discovery (or Anno 1404 I think is the other name) and haven't had any luck with finding the proper addresses. There are two other topics discussing this game (and the difficulty hacking it) in the forum but both seem dead. So I figured I should just start my own topic and hopefully I'll get lucky. Does anyone know what's special about how this game organizes its memory? I'm trying to find the addresses for items in the warehouse such as tools, wood, etc. Obviously the value has to be stored in the memory so I'm thinking that maybe there's some kind of changing with the values (like flash games) but I have no idea where or how to start looking for that. Any help would be great.

Tried "Unknown Value" -> "Decreased/Increased Value" method? Remember to test it with other value types as well, and not just 4 Bytes.
