I think you can do it with resn0w 5.1 beta or whatever. I'd wait till Spirit is updated, or until something better comes out.

You need to Jailbreak it to get Cydia, and through Cydia you can get whatever unlock.

if you jail break, you still need to install and download 2 application so you can run cracked games.
I jailbreaked mine but I fucking don't wanna download the other two application, blame my lazy ass.

you can't tether an Ipod Touch because it does not have 3G or even edge, it is an ipod touch

it appears that you don't know what tethering is. With an iPhone 3G, you have 3G, which allows you to have internet on the go. With an iPod Touch, you do not have 3G (the "3G" in Ipod Touch 3G stands for 3rd generation).
Tethering allows you to use the 3G internet connection on your iPhone on your laptop, so you can get internet on your laptop anywhere. Sometimes you can even set up a wireless hotspot for other devices.
