does your phone have an IR port
because very few do
and it would be needed to use it as a remote

The gr500f only supports j2me apps, which are pretty much all shitty tetris clones. You mentioned having multiple phones, could you list them all? Personally, if I had several j2me-only phones (aka 'dumbphones') I would sell some/all of them and get an Android phone.
